Hamdan bin Mohammed Photography Award launches ‘HIPA Magazine’ for the photographers around the world

The General Secretary of the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award, has announced the launch of the first issue of its quarterly digital magazine ‘HIPA’ downloadable on the official website www.hipa.ae . The magazine is provided in both Arabic and English versions and easy to download and share.
His Excellency Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad Al Owais, Minister of Health and Community Protection, Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs and Chairman of the HIPA’s Board of Trustees, praised the Award’s initiative, considering it a knowledge platform that will play an important role in spreading the culture of photography in the region and in addressing different ideas, schools and trends in the photography industry locally and internationally. He felt the magazine discusses pioneering experiences and distinctive innovations, and highlights remarkable talents in the field of photography in the UAE and around the world.
HIPA Secretary General, Ali Khalifa bin Thalith, in his capacity as editor-in-chief of the magazine, expressed, “ We are proud to present this ambitious project brought to you by the team at HIPA, including Saad Hashmi, Media and Corporate Communication Expert, ,Ola Khalaf, Education Programs Team Leader, and designed by Tamer Khamis and Hessa Falaknaz.
Bin Thalith added, “The magazine focuses on the field of photography. It will be issued quarterly, with four issues per year. We have ambitious visions regarding the development, spread, and quality of content that combines depth of knowledge, power of imagery all communicated in an approachable manner catering for all our photography community; amateur and professional.
Bin Thalith concluded by saying, “We invite all interested people from all over the world to visit HIPA’s website and view the first issue and share with us your thoughts and observations. This magazine aspires to provide added value to all photographers, and its doors are always open to hear from our community.”
